These cacao, chia and hazelnut protein balls are to die for! Amanda's got me hooked on yummy protein balls. Great on their own or with a cuppa tea. A healthy way to get your protein and sweet fix. Enjoy!
COCOA, CHIA AND HAZELNUT PROTEIN BALLS
1 1/2 c (210g) hazelnuts
1 c (170g) dried prunes
1/2 c (40g) desiccated coconut
1/3 c (35g) natural wholegrain brown rice protein powder
2 tbls pure maple syrup
1 tbls cacao powder
1 tbls black chia seeds
2 tbls cacao powder, extra
1. Process ingredients (except extra cacao powder) until combined well.
2. Roll level tablespoons of mixture into balls. Roll balls in extra cacao powder.
3. Place balls on a baking paper lined tray and refrigerate or freeze for 1 hour or until firm
