7 Inspirational Women of Momentum

When it comes to fitness, one size doesn’t fit all. In fact, fit comes in a variety of wonderful shapes and sizes, and as women, we need to start embracing and loving our bodies. We are all unique and so are our bodies. Even if we performed the same regular exercise and ate all the same food, we would never look identical.

To be fit, represents the way you feel, both mentally and physically, and it should never be compared to dress size or the number you see on your scale. These gorgeous women celebrate their bodies which allows them to do incredible things!

How long have you been working out with Momentum Bootcamps for?

I believe fitness is a personal attitude. I‘ve been active my whole life and it’s important that you find something you enjoy otherwise you might not stick with it. Over time you get addicted and feel the need to exercise.

I joined the Momentum family exactly 2 years ago. I keep coming back as the workouts are challenging and fun, and at the same time I get to meet so many like-minded and inspirational individuals who push me to achieve my best - I love this community.

How many times per week do you exercise?

I try to work out at least 5 times every week. This is a mix of 3-4 tennis classes and two Momentum bootcamps. It’s great and keeps me energised.

What is your favourite workout?

I always try to keep things fresh so I mix up my weeks up with tennis, Momentum’s Signature bootcamp, yoga and boxing.

And your favourite healthy meal?

I love to start my day off with granola and Greek Yoghurt, topped with some fresh fruit. My favourite dish to cook up during the day is a mix of quinoa or veggie salad and some protein such as beef or fish.

How long have you been working out with Momentum Bootcamps for?

I have been training with Momentum since the start of the very first Run Program back in January 2016. I love to run so I was very encouraged to try this programme, and now I attend Momentum’s classes on a weekly basis. It’s always a fantastic workout!

Being fit feels great. I feel strong in my legs, strong in my arms, strong in my core and more importantly strong in my mind. So it’s important to maintain my fitness as my body changes with age.

How many times per week do you exercise?

I like keeping active so aim to exercise at least 3 times a week, with a combination of Momentum’s running and bootcamp classes - and now adding Tuesday’s yoga to the list, which I really enjoy. On top of that, I occasionally like to swim or take a run along East Coast Park.

What is your favourite workout?

Without a doubt it has to me Tuesdays at the track running with Momentum.

And your favourite healthy meal?

I always fuel my body with lots of vegetables so I love to cook up a quick and easy dish consisting of as many vegies as I have laying around the house, and I add stir-fried rice, along with a marinated piece of salmon. It’s very easy to make tastes delicious.

I’ve been working out with Momentum Bootcamps for 2 years now. I love the trainers, the community, and of course the workouts.

I never understood what truly being fit meant until I started working out with Momentum and became addicted to the rush of a killer class to start my day. I love how being fit makes me feel mentally sharper and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges.

How many times per week do you exercise?

I like to exercise 5-6 times per week. This includes a mix of Momentum’s signature bootcamps, HIIT classes, boxing and yoga.

What is your favourite workout?

Momentum Bootcamps always keep the classes interesting by consistently expanding their offerings with new classes. Right now, my favourite class is boxing bootcamp – it’s a total body workout.

And your favourite healthy meal?

It has to be grilled prawns over zoodles (zucchini noodles) with a little bit of chili infused olive oil. I also love the versatility of protein based smoothies as the perfect ‘grab and go’ meal.

How long have you been working out with Momentum Bootcamps for?

I treat fitness as a way of life. Being fit is not just about looking good physically, but also being mentally healthy. From the food I eat, to that amazing post-workout feeling, it really makes me happy to look after my body As a result I feel healthier, happier and stronger to take on life’s challenges.

I first joined Momentum Bootcamps in 2015 while I was using Guavapass. I had tried a lot of different bootcamps before, but once I found Momentum it was exactly what I needed – it’s a great and challenging workout every single time, but at the same time it’s fun which is why I keep coming back.

How many times per week do you exercise?

I have a very busy work schedule so I try to attend between 1-2 bootcamps per week. On top of that, I love to run in the morning along the marina a couple of times a week before work.

What is your favourite workout?

It would have to be Momentum’s RunCamp. I find this the challenging, yet most rewarding and love how it has such a good mix of cardio and strength exercises. It’s perfect!

And your favourite healthy meal?

I’m always on the go so need something quick. I love smoothies and often whip one up in the morning which consists of an avocado, banana, kale, lemon juice, coconut water and chocolate protein powder. It tastes amazing. For something more solid, I love superfood salads with kale, goji berries, blueberries, grilled chicken, walnuts, feta cheese and finished off with lemon juice.

How long have you been working out with Momentum Bootcamps for?

You only have one life, make the most of it!

Since the very beginning back in 2015, but it was only with the Body By Momentum programme last September that I made a commitment to make exercise a bigger part of my life again.

How many times per week do you exercise?

Work permitting it’s about 5 times a week, bootcamps, HIIT & yoga. I’m a much happier person after I’ve worked out.

What is your favourite workout?

This is a tough one as I don’t have a favourite. I love that I’m able to have the variety with Momentum. I love the HIIT classes, the Signature Bootcamp, yoga (which I am utterly fascinated by) and the boxing. I love the bond with the trainers and everyone that attends the classes, it’s a lot of fun.

And your favourite healthy meal?

It has to be Yong Tau Foo (vegetables stuffed with fish, in a clear broth). If I’m cooking at home, I love to make poached salmon with a robust salad.
